We are looking for a Power BI Specialist who can turn raw data into insights that actually matter. You will build dashboards, analytics models, and reports that help clients make informed decisions across retail, finance, manufacturing, and professional services. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both business logic and data storytelling.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models based on client requirements.
- Create efficient data transformations, DAX measures, and visualizations that highlight trends and support decision-making.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand operational workflows and translate them into meaningful metrics.
- Build data pipelines and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and optimized performance.
- Handle data sourcing from SQL databases, APIs, ERP systems, and other platforms.
- Analyze business needs and recommend KPIs and performance frameworks.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize report performance, and improve existing dashboards.
- Provide documentation and occasional training to end users.
Required Skills and Experience
- Two to four years of experience working with Power BI in a professional environment.
- Strong command of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Ability to analyze business workflows and translate them into metrics and dashboards.
- Experience working with datasets from ERP or enterprise applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain insights clearly.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Exposure to BI work in retail, finance, manufacturing, or professional services.
- Understanding of data governance, security roles, and row-level security.
